Noticed my speedo was reading 168mph this morning whilst sat at lights, and on other hand registering 0mph when moving. Back to normal now but theres obviously a problem somewhere, any similar problems anyone? Dont really want to try that excuse if i get pulled, they will never believe me. Is it an easy repair?

Thanks

I think the first stop is to clean and gap-check the sensor at the side of the diff - it can get contaminated by dirt/oil/grease etc and send the readings haywire.

It worked for me and theres a fair amount of old posts on this to guide you through it if you do a search....
