Potentially it just needs a lot of prep work to bring it up to a proper dealer standard. When I was looking for my T350 I saw a couple of provate sales that needed a fair amount of work doing to them. 2 of them ended up being bought by dealers but for them to sell them they'd need to get the work done (1 of which was sold by Mr Agger the other is for sale with Driven Image) - I guess Fernies are willing to sell without doing the prep work for x price but including the usual 3 month warranty under the sale of goods act etc, or fully sorted for the the higher price including the better warranty.
