Code 'H' is reading on the dash, Im told its the air temp sensor. Tried opening up the male prongs for a tighter fit but fault still showing, could a re-set work and if so how is it done.

Don't know on that error specifically.

I get an EFI error which equates to its raining heavily and the sensor has got damp. Once I clear this with my laptop it doesn't come back until the next deluge.

Your garage should be able to clear it or this link we are discussing the cables and software.
