Tuscan 2 - Original Shocks, Anyone Want Them?
Discussion
jeez give a gadge a box of chocolates thats all the standard shocks are worth...
Posts like this make me cringe.... TVR's are I believe either owned by real enthusiatsts or cheap skate few month thrill seekers, guess the most of you know to which league you belong by now. The standarsd shocks are shocking to say the least, I binned mine without even considering passing on the misery or danger to others.... think about it..! All in doubt get Nitrons or better they make the car what it should have always have been.

Hey man, some people in the UK are currently being crunched, if an owner has got shock out and can't afford replacements at the mo then these may help! go cringe some other place.Posts like this make me cringe.... Blimey, Keep yer hair on, not all of us have £34K to spend on maintenance and upgrades, but are enthusiastic enough to scrimp and scrape to be able to have one in the first place.
Spares are Spares, you need to have a rethink about your categories. There's probably a special one for you. Nice car by the way.
I've got a colleage that lives round that way (ewell), but he's on Xmas hols at the moment, When he comes back next week can I catch up with you and hopefully sort out a collection date and time?
Thanks
Dave

king chill out, the b;oke is doing someone a favour here...I have had 3 tuscans (all with the stanard shocks)and have had many a race day with them and yes i was as quick as some people with upgraded shocks. My new tuscan has nitrons on and they are very good BUT i dont know if they are worth the 2 grand extra though. yzf1070 said:

PS A supercharged speed six went in a Typhon at the factory, so yours isn't the first

Boy did I nudge a raw nerve there... touchy lot arn't you.....
My appologies if I so upset you all, a few vodka's and I can be somewhat flipant. The standard shocks in my opinion can be lethal and I would urge anyone to change them. The Gaz shocks are a fraction of the cost of Nitrons and are infinitely better than the standard set up, so one does not have to spend £000's on shocks to gain confidence and a far better ride and drive.
), I have since been reliably informed that the TVR SC engine was a successful project, but due to numerous cost reasons the boy Nick cancelled the Typon project. However the car never made it onto the road.... so mine IS the first. (Read my avitar a little more closey.....) So sir I say to you "stick that up yer tail pipe kiddo"

At least 2 (maybe 3) TYPHONs were built , jpa.janwell (on here) bought the Reflex Charcoal one and the Orange one was the factory one fitted for a period with a Supcharged Speed Six. (from the information I have been given)
I think the vodka has affected you and you're mixed up with the TYPHOON (extra O) which was the car never built under NS.
PS Your profile states " The FIRST and currently the only Supercharged S6 on tha road or can you tell me different? " So I'm telling you different. In the nicest possible way
These are the two TYPHONS :-

Well one of us has been misinformed and I admit that I cannot verify the out right facts I was given, hence my avatar statement. However I was lead to believe that the Typhoon was to be essentially the same car under NS's reign but without the Supercharged engine. I was further informed that the Typhon SC car was never put on the road, only making it to track testing. So if correct, then my avatar statenment stands.... but hey, what the hell i've got one and there will soon be 2 others out there as well, Shawn Smith's Sagaris from STR8-Six and hopefully Pascal Buyens Tuscan from RG. I think the vodka has affected you and you're mixed up with the TYPHOON (extra O) which was the car never built under NS.

By the way I read that the Charcoal reflex Typhon car was smashed up by a car mag reporter doing a road test. Must have cost an arm and a leg to rebuild. I saw it at the Rockingham 60th so not sure if the accident occured before and that was the car rebuilt or if indeed the accident was after that event.
It's Christmas so I won't chuck out any more ground bait.....
