Hi

Don't know the car, but bought my Griff from the same place in 2006 and very happy with the car and service I received from them. They are a small independent company but they seemed to have a stock of nice examples.

I had the same problem with it being miles away and got Rob Ingleby to insepct the car and bought it on his recommendation. I drove up with my girlfriend to pick it up and made a weekend of it, in Harrogate. The car was ready for me when I turned up, cleaned and topped up with petrol ready to go, nice people and good service.

Andy,I am of the opinion that nowhere is too far for the right car!If it ticks the right boxes and after having spoken to them on the phone you are still impressed, then get your behind down there quickly and check it out.I travelled country-wide and viewed many cars before finding the right one so get your map and driving gloves(!) out and get going.

SSCC are well known and established in the area. Many regional members use their services. John (sales) and Steve (servicing) have been around the marque for many years. Steve used to be in charge of servicing at HHC (Harrogate)before Drivestyle. John only sources good quality cars. Bargain hard on price, though.

am prepared to travel for the right car but its always worth putting the feelers out first good cars are generally well known but never as well known as bad ones, also have a chimp to part ex so dont want to chase around the country running up miles on my car to see lemons (if there is a lemon tvr)
