Tuscan or Mercedes

I'm taking the misses down to Brighton this coming Friday night, booked a nice restaurant, booked the baby sitter, I've really done my bit and taken full control! Now, as a nice little treat, I told her we could bomb down there in the TVR, her face turned into fear and she asked if we could go down in the Merc, now I've insisted on the TVR whether she likes it or not - why dont girls like TVR's?

Mine does, But at first said she did not feel as safe in the Tuscan as the Evo i had before.
Try driving really sedately, and see what she does [ i know, it wont be easy! ]

Mine acts as my own gear shift light, as soon as the green light goes one she emits a squeek like noise wich gains pitch/volumn with the engine lol.

Maybe she needs new fingers....

Mine leaves finger nail marks in the center console and the door.
I take the mickey because she has this unconsious need to hold on even when we are chugging through a town. I've even had to tell here she can let go after we have parked up !!
Never did it in the Chimaera ???

Same as mine, she even thinks if she moves her foot around in the passenger footwell she might find a brake pedal Bless em .

My wife just looks at me and slowly shakes her head, my eldest daughter screams in terror, but my youngest daughter just says "oh no, i know what your goung to do!" as i change down and then howls with laughter ! - take the TIV but drive reservedly

I have had to have the whole carpet replaced as the wife kept depressing that well known passenger footbrake. It's the seat side supports next after the roof liner as she keeps try to grab the non existant handle to hang on.
I though letting her drive it on an empty M40 between service stations was safe for me, but suddenly behind the wheel she tried to emulate Vicki Butler Henderson and loved it. I didn't, and went for the passenger brake as the red light came on.
Solution: I am buying her a Chimaera, and she can stuff her own engine!!!

mine takes the Merco and I take the Tuscan which is on the trailer the Merco pulls...

everyone is fine, and no trouble with the SP6 engine in that way hihihi...

My misses just sits there bolt upright, no conversation, she just looks at the road ahead telling me to slow down, she dislodged the passenger door card trying to hang on once, she actually does turn a different colour with fear.

Its not just the tuscans

my nearest and dearest just shuts her eyes and screems her little heart out, i drown her out with the engine/exhaust and say i didnt hear bless her cotton socks

I don’t have a Tuscan, I went for the slightly more sane Tamora but the missus still hangs on for grim death when I open the taps. However, as I insured her to drive it (saved me £350 she insisted on having a go on the way back from Tesco the other day.

I can empathise with the ladies; whilst we negotiated reversing out of a parking space and navigated the car park without problem, pulling out onto the mini roundabout she overcooked it and, pulled a doughnut. I almost soiled myself as my life flashed before me!. First and last time in the hot seat. I might slow down a little and consider her feelings… on the other hand I might not!

Fortunately mine only drives automatics. and funnily enough its a Merc.

My Misses also had a go in my Tuscan, an experience neither of us will ever repeat!

My Mrs drives the Tuscan very well, apart from being drawn to the kerbs whilst parking

Are you guys suggesting that if the OH hasnt got a license and hasnt driven a car for years, I shouldnt let her loose in the Cerb??

(I said if she could get in and start it in under 3 mins she could drive it - I think im safe )

Mine loved the Griff but she doesnt like the Tuscan as much; she complains it sits in the garage too much

Otherwise she loves it when we dust other cars here in Germany (we both aren't very partial to the (horse)'star' so I would take the Tuscan!!!)..

1.3 litre suzuki is about right for a lady, a 4 litre TVR will need the driving skill of a real man.
