tuscan 2 alarm

I have just got back home from picking up new car 05 tuscan 2 , parked it in garage and set the alarm. internal door release knob flashes . have looked in handbook and it says mirror switch should flash nothing about door release.

is all ok

Pretty much ignore what the book says When I put my alarm on everything flashes for about 5 minutes. In the dark its like the light show from an ELO concert.

Yours is probably working fine.

Dont worry quite normal,door release looks like a disco when alarm first set.

yes reading handbook did not help as when locked all window buttons and door release light up like xmas tree , then when armed just door knob flashes every 5 seconds or so. went and looked through window and discovered alarm works and is quite loud when in garage.dont you just love these things
