Just went to the DVLA site and got "S6 CYA" for my Tuscan and "S2 CYA" for my brother as he's got an Lotus Elise Series 2 or something.

What's everyones opinion on the plate, cool or crap? Couldn't find anything else reasonably priced anyway...

Yeah, "S6 CYA" = Speed 6 Seeya...

Hmmm, it's not an overwhelming response, but we'll see, maybe I'll just go ahead and buy that "Tusk" one that was advertised recently! Nevermind...could have it printed like "S6 C YA"...

Nice car shame about the plate.

Only kidding.

As long as your happy with it who cares what anybody else thinks ?

...well I'll try the plate out for a few weeks, see how it goes! Must save more pennies for acronyms that make sense! I could print off an explanation and stick it on the rear window. That would be a good look...

I like the plate(s) alot!!

Only people who know what S6 means in terms of tuscan will understand it, but that doesn't matter.

If I saw that plate on the road, I'd point it out or txt my mate about it.

Go for it matey !!

Ah, a mixed response; I think the majority vote is go for it regardless what other people think, much like the general TVR models and owners...nice to think outside of the box for a while!

Now THAT is a plate! Did the car come as an extra when the plate was bought?

Have had a couple of people ask whether the S6 on my plate is a homage
to Essex

I saw in the up and coming DVLA Auction the number 7 TVR is up for grabs - I don't think I have the funds to go for that one.

With all these so-called personal plates about a standard as-it-comes plate looks the best IMO.

Personal plates say the owner is a bit naff and the plate takes away from an otherwise great car IMO.

The worst ones are those that don't quite make it or need to be distorted to work - something very sad about the whole personalised plate syndrome. IMO of course.
