I'm after a favour........... It appears that the rear shock absorber lower adjusting ring has a cracked in two (Not the height adjustment ring....but the lower thinner one that ensures that the main ring is secure). Anyone have an old shock on their shelf that they would donate the bottom securing ring off.

Don't know how it's happened as this car is absolutely mint underneath (Polished : Chassis/Brakes/Suspension Components), but for some reason it appears that the lower ring has had some metalic reaction and just started to corrode ! ! ! and on attempting to adjust it, it's cracked in two. If I remember rightly someone else suffered the same not too long ago.

Willing to pay for it + P&P costs.

Thanks in advance

Jim

Jim - I´ve dug one of the old shocks out. I don´t have a c spanner to fit so best I can offer is to send the complete unit and you can dismantle, use what you need and dispose of rest. Is this any good?

If so, PM me your details and I´ll get it posted.
