Re-Engineered Window Clips
Discussion
Got mine a couple of weeks ago, quick and easy from www.raceproved.com highly recomended.
I ordered mine from Raceproved but when I called to check on delivery, the contact number turned out to be CleverTrevor.
They were confused as they had not received my order.
I placed a new order with CT and they postd them same day.
Raceproved later refunded me my first order.
CT told me that Raceproved normally make them and sell through CT and not direct.

i've just fitted a pair of these and have to say I’m mildly disappointed for a number of reasons, specifically the fitting holes are too close together, the heads of the allen bolts provided to fit them to the car stripped when I tried to fit them- so you’re better off using the original clip’s screws, the plastic bobbles provided to stop the screen scratching the screen are too tall so if you use them you can’t close the clips (I had to pad mine with velcro) and finally the allen key provided to tighten the clips is incredibly fiddly to use. They are an improvement on the originals but with a bit more thought and attention to detail they would much better still- after all 70 quid is a lot of money.

That's put a spanner in the works of me ordering today!!Has anybody fitted these and got any benefit on a Mk2 with the later design screen. Mine has always suffered from poor wind noise and generally a pain in the backside to fit properly.
Fitted them on my 2006 Tuscan S, no problem fitting them although used the original fixing screws as using the nuts & bolts provided would have meant removal of part the boot carpet to get the nuts on. The original plastic clips on mine had bent quiet a bit so the rear screen did not sit correctly on the seal at the bottom & the sides.

With the new clips the rear screen has much better contact with the seal & the wind noise is noticeably less.
