Weird: I change the top hose on the rad. Bit of to-ing and fro-ing to ensure that the jub clips are done up properly (they weren't). But I seem to have developed a seepage of fluid/coolant from the o/s headlight compartment.
I see in there some component related to the a/c.

Two possibilities:
1) by some fluke something has gone pop at the same time I changed the top hose.
2) the initial leak from the jub clip was tracking along some pipe or other and into said compartment.

Any tips, people?

J

PS: this h/light compartment was obviously the manufacturers dustbin for cable tie ends during build. Now cleared of 'stuff'.

THe carbon canister is in the front wing there, feeds fuel vapour back into the tank, has a overflow pipe on it. You might have pinched a pipe going into it from the inner wing there while looking at the rad??

Thanks Al. I wondered what that canister was. Either I spilt some coolant in that area or it was finding it's way along there by capillary due to loose hose clip. Seems dry now but will monitor it.
Gotta be careful with your hands in these hard to get to areas, as the compartment has lots of sharp, hidden matting edges.
