Hi all,
Will be getting a respray this year and been wondering what colour to go for.
I've got Purple Paradise at the moment which seems to cause quite a stir wherever I go. The comments always seem to be about the colour and not so much about the Tuscan. Usual first question requires the "No I'm not gay" response.
As I have gray leather and purple carpets interior I think that I still need to stay with purple but was wondering what the other purples are look like.
Can anyone recommend colours to check out.
If I change completely, how good are carpet dyes ?
Thanks,
Tony.

Reflex purple is one of the best colours for a Tuscan (and I'm not just saying that cos mine is). Classy and exotic without looking too lairy or silly as some other shades can. It's always a favourite at any car meet.

Only down side is that it's bloody expensive. frown

Thanks for the advise.
Are Chamelion Green and Reflex Purple similar then ?
I must say the your profile photo's both look great.
I liked Luca Brazzi's Reflex Green Tuscan which appears also to be a green purple.
Is there very much difference between these three colours ?
Thanks,
Tony.

Reflex purple like mine looks great, but is very expensive and I would never get a reflex paint again. With your interior I would sugest Rolex blue, which is a very dark blue with purple. I think it's a great colour.

You might also want to look at Halcyon Space Pearl which is a greyish blue that turns purple in sun light. I almost bought an 'S' from James Agger in this colour but purple just isn't for me and after lots of umming and erring I decided it was more purple than blue and didn't go for it. Instead I went with a more sedate Imperial Blue which I found out this week is a Ford colour!

It's all about Reflex Green smile

Looks very purple in some lights - I'd say have a look at the pic on my profile, but it only looks green and blue in that!

Thanks all, some interesting points.
I must admit I do like Tokyosi's Rolex Blue.
But then I like all of them.
This is going to be harder than I imagined. scratchchin
Thanks,
Tony.

I have always been a big fan of TVR Racing Purple. It's quite a rare colour for some reason but looks ace with anthracite wheels and being a 'normal' paint it shouldnt cost the earth.

Nice colour but it looks more blue than anything. Does it apear more purple in the flesh ?
My carpets are almost lilac purple so that would have to be darkened.
Thanks,
Tony.

I've been searching the threads to find your photo. That is the best colour Tuscan I have ever seen. ( no offence ment to everyone else).
Just blew me away when I saw your car on a thread on here.
Trouble for me is the interior would need some change work.
Thanks for joining in. My headache is getting bigger. thumbup

It is Bronze at the other end of the spectrum, with green and brown in between.

My interior is green and cream, but mostly green. I could e-mail you some photos if you like. I don't get up your way much I'm afraid but if you are heading South then we could try and meet ?
