Convertable windscreen rubber
Discussion
Due to having a nasty stone chip in the windscreen I got it done via my insurance. Had it done through Auto glass who are part of the RAC. When I dropped it off they said it would be easier to do without the roof on so I took it off for them. They said they have done quite a few TVR windscreens in the past so I thought they should get it right.
Picked it up later that day it looked fine.Seen as it was a nice day I drove home without the roof on, when I come to put the roof back on the front of hood seems to pull the rubber seal away from the screen when pushed into place.
Is there a standard seal, is it worth taking it back to them to re do with a different, shall I do it myself?
I must admit I'm of the mind that if I can do it I do it myself cause I will take my time, do a better job etc, surely the rubber seal isn't that expensive to aquire and DIY.

Hey Keith, I wondered how long it would take for the "plant" to turn up again. I wonder what his next pseudo name will be. Perhaps "gloweworm" as his user name, and an alias of "Mike Hunt". They really are very predictable, and about as sharp as a beach ball.
