Hi all
I am picking up my Tuscan at the end of the month and have now started to get insurance quotes in from various traders.
I am with Sunninghills with my Griff 500 but they are quoting me £1300 for the Tuscan (well out)so I will be changing insurance, the lowest quote I have had is £925 with unlimited milage this to me seems okay but does anyone else have a cheaper insurance.
I am 31 years old have 6 points and will use the car as a weekend car only.
Any feedback would be appriciated
Mathew

From what I have read it sound pretty good. Where do you live? I paid £550 but my licence is clean at the moment, I live in North Yorks and I'm a couple of years older than you.

I would have to agree, it sounds reasonable, especially with 6 points. I was with Sunninghill, my renewal came through with no claims or convictions, max NCB, and it had gone up 125%!!, ended up going to Privilege, and it came in at around £650, but I am an old'n, over 40 !.

Give Privilege a try, my details are similar to yours in terms of area and age, 3 points. I'm paying £770 with protected ncb, unlimited mileage, £350 xs.

I have just had my renewal on a 1 year old Tuscan through Peart, full NCB AND limited to 3 k miles for £600.00 seems resonable.

Sunninghill. I'm waiting for the renewal notice with some trepidation though.

It's cheaper if you buy online www.privilege.com.

Glad you like the colour, what colour is the interior on yours?

The interior is a dark blue leather with light blue door and gearbox tunnel carpets.
The dark blue and light blue exterior colours seem to go quite well.
What colour is the inside of your car?

Hi Mathew, good news that you,ve found a Tuscan! I have had a quote from Mannings for £710, same area as you, and i'm not yet 30. No points though. But maybe worth giving them a call. Looking forward to seeing your new toy.

Direct Line. Age 55. £1000 excess. Tuscan S. £575 p.a. However, they have the house contents & buildings, Jaguar S type, travel insurance & pet insurance. Therefore this rate is discounted. I also have two sons insured with Direct Line as well.

Regards,
Clive.
