Someone must have put a different seat in a Tuscan???
Discussion
Hi guys n girls,
In the words of princess laya to Obi wan kenobi in Star Wars..........."your my only hope"
I'm a pretty big fella at 6'6" and the seat in my Tuscan is "ok"....but only just "ok".....and I've been living with it for a year now.
My ideal is to sit a little lower and further back......I know I can take the seat base out but I'd like better solution and I think a slim padded bucket seat would do the trick.
Been reading every forum and blog out there to see if anyone has put a different seat in a Tuscan but no joy......so it's down to pistonheads to save the day.
Any advice / pics out there?
Cheers
Glen

I'm just over 6'6" and don't have a problem even with seat cushion in (although hair just brushes the roof lining if spiked up with hair gel !!). Spent over 17 hours in the drivers seat on a track day with journey down & back, expected some stiffness afterwards but it was supremely comfortable and I wouldn't change it for anything - better than in my other car with heated, lumbar supports etc...
Now even better after moving pedal box forwards (easy to check underneath floor, behind front wheel, you will see 2 additional rows of holes in the metal plate - nuts for pedal box are in central row as standard).
One possible (cheap) solution to recline your seat further would be to remove the rear plastic cover from your seat. Perhaps get a spare from a breakers and cut it to just leave the visible top part behind the head rest so it doesn't look naff from outside ?
