Red Tuscan S Commuting from Nottingham..
Discussion
As a sad and lowly Tuscan spotter rather than driver, I get rather excited by a lovely red S that passes me in the opposite direction most mornings. Usually in between Nottingham and Newark.
Just wondering if it was anyone here?
If not, I can make a fool of myself by gradually building up a 'relationship' with the driver.
I've started with pointing and mouthing 'I love your car' although I think he may get confused by this at faster closing speeds
I was then going to gradually build up to a wave and maybe a flash. Obviously culminating into the sort of deep friendship where he might consider lending me the car on occasion.
*sigh* If only I hadn't squandered all that money on a house.

I guess that would be mine then. Unless there's another one? If the driver looks cheesed off then it's definately me. That road has been a constant traffic jam recently. And even when it isn't, all those lovely new digital speed cameras will be up and working soon ensuring a miserable commute every day! But - hey - think of the children etc etc...(just reminiscing there about last nights deplorable propoganda on the BBC about SCameras)..
I can narrowly afford to drive the car to work here in Newark once or twice a week at the moment.
Most days I drive my nice, £1k, dirty, white Peugeot 306.
Excellent.
That'd explain why I don't see it every day. I'll keep an eye open for the Peugeot.
Incidentally, I believe those posts are for traffic monitoring stuff, not speed cameras. They're still trying to decide whether to dual that stretch.
Keep an eye out for Coney Grey Spinney on your left going North. That's where I live!
Oh, and yes...the one with the miserable git behind the wheel.

Suprised you haven't noticed it. It's one of those places I'd noticed for years, then I ended up living there. It's strange how many people know it...
Anyway, it's on the straight stretch between Bingham and East Stoke, just at the crest of the hill before the old airbase on your left. Just after the Flintham sign.
Next time you're in the Tusc, have a blast round the estate so I can drool out my window.
There's sometimes a Cerbie, a Lotus Excel (I think) under a tarp and a nice Golf R32 (and boxster
) live in there. And of course, my lovely VW bus in my back garden.
