hi peeps, now its the lovely dark nights the inside of the car is lit up luvvly, but i am sure the pod with the speedo, etc is moving when i am driving. when i say moving, its more floating, but its a hell of a wierd sensation, providing you can take your eyes off the road long enough to look!!

is this normal or should i be looking to get my eyes tested and lay off the vodka red bulls???

Is the pod securely fixed?
Mine wiggles from left to right and I've had a swing on pods in the showroom and they're pretty solid. I asked my service guy and he told me I could fix it by undoing the phillips screws either side of the pod, slide tha fascia towards you, undoing the change-up light wiring as you go. Then tighten the two screws(?) which hold the assembly in place - or I could just leave it until the car goes in for a service. Guess which I opted for.

No worries - it's an illusion.

Your eyes are used to the dark so when you move your head, even slightly, the bright dials appear to move (looks like the dials have come out of their case). Weird but normal!

Try it with an LED watch (if you can find one) it does the same when you move it!!

Same for me, they appear to float...quite disconcerting at first, then you get used to it..

Gett the same effect on both Tusc and Chim. Can be a tad distracting but I always reckon that I don't need the dials too much if I am driving to the raod conditions rather than the instruments
