Bit of a quandary....
Discussion
In December the local Max power clubs have an open day to show who has the biggest bit of plastic stuck on their Saxo/Nova or 206 etc. One of the organisers has asked me if I will take my Tuscan along. I know that it will attract a lot of attention and probably win the best exhaust note prize, best exterior looks, best interior..well just about everything...but obviously my car is the real deal and not at all maxed. Should I attend or should I keep well away. I feel that if there is a chance that I can convert someone from Maxism to real cars I should make the effort? Opinions greatly appreciated.
I'd go along. Have you seen the girls that go around those places! Most are models hired by the traders showing off but wow! lol
You will get a load of spotty teenagers (i'm 20 now...
) drooling and touching your car though...
Go for it! If its crap drive off in disgust leaving them deaf from the exhaust and covered in mud!

I like many on here was very sceptical about the Lax Power brigade until by accident I found myself sitting with a group of about 15 of them in a pub. This group were all very much PetrolHeads - keen on all things motorised. Just as keen to hear about my Tiv as well as their mate's blown up Skyline. We hung around with them for quite a while, it was most entertaining.
You could argue with their taste in cars and bolt on bits, but you'd struggle to deny their enthusiasm.
