Done clutch slave,Done brake master.Know clutch masters gone

Creaking noises are not likely to be anything to do with hydraulics and just the mechanical linkage needing a dab of grease.
If you've already repaired/replaced the brake master then it's possible that you have still got brake fluid lying around from that; check whether the clutch fluid level is going down to see whether you have a leak, and if so check for a leak at the slave end, and the pipe to it, as well as the master.
