that is enough funds for a reasonable tusc, try to find one with a 2004+ rebuild if you can, for peace of mind and a huge saving in the slush fund. if older than this then you run the risk of needing rebuild/oilway mods ect ect, not trying to put off at all, i would sell my mother before my tvr, just the way they get you, (its a lurv ting) 
Looks like you just missed out on mine, sold on here just a few days ago to the first person to come and view, I had to tell two people that it was no longer available, who were just about to drive down to see it. I am pleased though that its gone to a fellow long term TVR Club Member. I'll let him post first to let you know who it is.

You definately have plenty of money there to buy a decent Tuscan.
I paid 16K for mine a year past January but have spent 3.5k in that time. Nothing too major, new clutch 3 months ago used the majority of that and also had 2 services as well plus some dash repairs. Oh and new tyres and 1 wheel due to a idiot a fortnight ago.
In these financial times, reckon you'd probably get a very well sorted Tuscan, maybe not as good as Jim's though, lol.
