Hello Everyone ,
I'm new to your board, I've actually sneaked across from the MG BBS to have a quick word with you all as the guys on there said you may help. My other half is wanting to buy a Tuscan 01 plate upwards. I'm sorry to offend some of you :-( but I have heard a few very bad things about them (i.e build quality, unreliability and unsafe....sorry)and want to know the truth!
Can you guys give me your opinions please.
Many Thanks
Dolly.

You might get better responses from the Tuscan forum...

To answer the original question, yes there are a few bits and bobs. Essentially your biggest assets in preparing for Tuscan ownership would appear to be searching and FAQs on Pistonheads, the Tuscan Owners Forum (on Yahoo) and go and speak to as many owners/people as you can.

Then you'll go in knowing what's what! Many people are delighted by their Tuscan - plenty of us are aspiring to ownership one day - and a few have had issues. You always hear the bad news loudest, though!

Dolly D, and a very big welcome.

I'll move this post over to the Tuscan forum for you, and lets see if we can't get you some constructive and positive feed back.

This looks like one of those "how many people does it take to change a light bulb gags" - one poster, half a dozen advisers and two to move it!

No offence

And 5 Tuscan owners to say "my bulb went as well - must be a faulty batch", and another 4 Tuscan owners to reply saying "My bulbs are still working perfectly - there isn't a problem - it's just the way you turn your lights on"

Nice one - I didn't mean to introduce such a obvious target for mechanical reliability jokes!!
