Our new tuscan
Discussion
I had a chimeara for six years me and my son james always wanted a tuscan,he sadly passed away in 2006 he was only 16 in a motobike crash. I want to have his nickname DUFFY on the plate as and when i can aford it. Weve just got a none runner tvr tuscan 3.6, 2003, had a lot more gone wrong than expected but we are getting there.Done engine mounts, done slave, done brake master, done clutch master,we know need a clutch?.We also need to upgrade to gaz shocks and need new discs pads all round. This is a picture of matthew my younger son holding a picture of james at the cementry along side our car. We are doing this for james he would of loved this car. RIP James.

Hi Colin,
As a father of 4 including 2 teenage boys, my heart goes out to you, every time my sons go out in their cars I am always uneasy. Having owned a Tuscan and the delight my boys have had going in it you have to get this car sorted so you can enjoy it.
One of the last jobs I did on my Tuscan was to change the discs and pads all round and knowing how expensive they were I purchased a brand new set of drilled and vented rear discs (Very reasonable from the bay.)in case I ever needed them in the future (Highly unlikely I will ever use them.) With this in mind I will gladly let you have them free of charge. Please mail me your address and I will stick them in the post for you if you want them.
I know this was not the object of your post, but sometimes reading other peoples heartbreaking stories, can give you a reality check and make you realise how lucky you are.

Good luck with the project Colin, I hope you have many hours of enjoyment from it. They are magnificant cars and truly a wonderful tribute to your son.

Circuit supplies were the most keenly priced for pads when I was looking for them. http://www.circuitsupplies.com/
