Bringing in rear edge of drivers door

[FLAT 6]

My drivers door sits about 5 mm out at the rear edge. I've tried moving the lock on the 'b' pillar but there isn't much adjustment there.

Looking at the post on the actual door, the marks on the paint suggest that this has slipped.

It looks like the post is held in place by fixings only accessible from inside the door. Can anyone tell me the procedure for removing the door panel??

Help greatly appreciated - maybe one for mytuscan.co.uk (can't see it there at the mo).

Fear not - it's easier than you think...



Just insert an allen key or pin punch of appropriate size into one of the holes you can see either side of the central pin.

Then loosen the whole assy. about 1/2-1 turn by levering it anticlockwise with a large screwdriver. The screwdriver levers between the central pin and pin punch.

The assy. is held into the door with a captive, floating nut.
It won't fall into the door - I promise!

Just move it to the correct position (using the witness marks on the paint for guidance) then retighten the assy. and check the door gap.
