Dampers/springs

Had the Tuscan for 3 weeks now & still grinning in comparison to my Griff 500 it is a lot more controlled on rebound but still jiggles about on B roads. If i upgrade the springs & dampers does the ride & damping improve drastically? Which make to go for? (i am drawn towards nitrons)The car is a 2002 MK1 4.0 L not an S. All advice gratefully recieved.

I fitted Gas Golds on mine, and the improvements were very noticable. Much more stable and no bottoming out, especially at the rear.
Its nice to be able to alter the ride as well to suit.

Try Derek (Ab Shocks on here) who sells the latest Gaz Gold Professional kits for the same price as others charge for the older 'Golds'. Thats what I went for anyway on a 2004 Tuscan S. If money no object then Nitrons are slightly better but I couldn't justify double the cost for that small improvement.

Lots of adjustment in the Gaz Gold Pro and you will see improvement over the originals for fast road and occasional track use.

Just had my billsteins removed and fitted with Gaz Gold Pros by Topcats racing, Aylesbury. Difference is huge. Much nicer ride height and the car now feels planted.

Any one running Racing Reds? Trying to gather all the facts before I decide which way to go

Also fitted Gaz Golds, I felt nitrons were a bit much for someone never planning on any track days.

Total transformation, I am not exagerating. Also fitted Steve Heath rose jointed ARB drop links, didn't notice much from these, but they are definitely a good product.

Finally, get a full geometry set up done.

The first batch to the UK had quality control issues and quite a few suffered seal failure. Not sure if this has been rectified on latest ones ?
