Unfortunatly I am forced to sell my Tuscan... Brings a tear to your eye! I am a company director and unfortunatly the company isn't doing so well so need the cash to reinvest back in to keep things moving... Was that or the house and didn't think the girlfriend would appreciate sleeping in the car!

I have put it up on the classifieds board if anyone is interested. Put it up for £38,500 which is less than I really want but think it sounds reasonable as it cost me £44,500 in March this year (9 months ago).

If anyone is interested please let me know and even when the car goes I will still stay a memeber of this group and the community as you are all great guys and I have enjoyed contributing to the threads this past year. Hoping that when the company makes its millions (fingers crossed) I will be back in the market to buy another Tuscan or even a T440!

Thanks again to everyone that I have spoken to and sorry that I will no longer be a Tuscan owner...

If you know of anyone who is interested in the car then please, please do contact me or pass my details on to any interested parties.

Thanks again,
- Pete -

Sorry to hear that Peter,
Bad time of year to sell really.
You are also asking too much.. IMO and looking at the state of the tuscan market, you'll be lucky to get 34k for it.

Best of luck with the business.

Anyone notice a trend here? record unemployment figures, stock market on the up, well, that's what I see on Sky news. Yet myself and people I know are finding things a bit different.

Thanks everyone... Thanks for the pointer Jedi, been looking around and must admit the prices look a little confusing! Some cars similar to mine are up for £40k and others are there for £35k?!

I will look at dropping the price soon but agree that this is not the best time of year to sell ANY car especially a specialist car! Everyone is too caught up with Christmas to bother with cars!

Sorry to hear that other people are in a similar boat to me, hoping our fortunes turn around soon!

Thanks again for all your words of encouragement and wisdom and I will think about repricing the Tugger soon!

Too right Apache. Whatever the stats say I think we're close to recession if not in it. I operate in the luxury goods market (antique furniture) and 2003 has been a piss poor year for this trade. I talk to friends who sell in other areas of the "luxury" market and they all say the same.
