I need to replace the gasket on the inlet pipe to the oil tank, the one 3/4 of the way up on the off side with four mushroom head allen key bolts - its leaking badly. Have tightened up the fixings but the existing gasket has gone soft and just spreads. Is there an easy way of disassembling the hose end? Just undoing the bolts a 1/4 turn at a time makes me think it will be nigh on impossible to reassemble the same way. Would like to fix it before the run down to Beaulieu on Sunday.
Cheers

Damned tight to undo and 38mm if I recall
Have fun !
Didn't try undoing via the 4 bolts only...they are quite short so might work
Ct stocks the gasket or make one from gasket sheet from local car spares shop

Don't loose the oring holding the mesh screen !

The 4 button heads are too long to remove so hose needs loosening

Use 598 on button heads on re assy
