changed my older bridgestone potensa's S02 for the new Toyo R1R
the difference is very very big
the car really sticks to the road now
my unsecure feeling is completely gone
I still have to have a look at the camber and lining but this is definite a good buy

Are these the tyres that can crack when it gets cold [ 32 or below ]??

in fact i had to change for other tyres because the bridgestone's were cracked. :0)
i don't know i the R1R are all weather tyres
they are semi track
i think driving in the wet is possible but very gently

Sounds good Rens. What do you think of the side walls, are they hard enough?
R1R should be an all weather tyre, be it more "slick" than other tyres; the 888 is the semi slick.

Yes, as per my post on aother thread (below). AFAIK they are not an official distribution line in the UK but imported by some tyre dealers.

at the moment you can get them in each profile tyre centre
about € 200-250 per tyre (225-255)

Hi Rens,

wchich sizes did you take? i run 225 front and 255 rear, i think the handling is very ok like this, however optically i tend to think that they look a little to narrow for the wheels.

But this is how the factory did them originally i understood.
