yesterday my boot decided it didnt want to open. I got in by the usual method and tested the components initially diagnosing the solenoid. Bought a new one today to find that it isnt the solenoid after all. Tested the switch and that seems okay. Swapped the door controllers suspecting it might be that, but no joy.

I have put a volt meter across the connector by the solenoid and it seems to pulse between 1 and 10 volts when the switch is pressed. This seems not enough to activate the solenoid. I'm now losing the will to live and have now run out of ideas. I'm off to LeMans on Thursday so really want to get it sorted before then. Anyone got any ideas?

hello,

had the same problem several times.
I solved it with silicon spray around the boot switch.
