When checking my fluids yesterday (ooh err ) I noticed that around the middle catch on the front bonnet section is cracked. Anyone else suffered similarly and what can be done, other than a respray job?

I've got a similar problem at a couple of places as well.
Near the lights at the front and the rear quarter.Like a little blister underneath with cracks spreading out.Nothing like a stone chip. Not realy noticable unless you get real close.
I'll get mine sorted next year with the front end respray.
If it's only one spot one of the chips away guys may be cheaper. I don't know if they can do the fancy technicolour stuff though.
How old is your car?Not still under warranty?
The guy i brought mine from had a few spots done as i was buying it.The garage did it for free even though it was out of warranty,as a goodwill gesture.

Just gone three years so the warranty thing is out and from recent experience I can't see my local stealer, err.. I mean dealer being prepared to sort it out gratis!

I had a similar problem on a Griff quite a few years ago, in this case a crack leading from a bonnet mounting bolt and starting to progress over the bonnet. Car was about 3 years old at the time but I had a chat with the factory, they spoke to the dealer and it was fixed with bill to factory. Might be worth giving them a ring?

I spoke to a Chipsaway guy at Sainsburys recently, he produced a very extensive TVR colour chart which was very impressive. Not saying they are any good, just have an impressive colour chart!!
