one of my goodyear f1 18 inch tyres has a big nail in it, although it has not deflated yet! anyone put avons on the back of a tuscan?
also one of the suppliers i rang suggested replacing just the damaged tyre with one avon as they have same tread type. advisable?

I was told yesterday by my mechanic (Jason @ STR8Six) that Avons have a nasty tendency to cause tramlining. Goodyears or Toyos (similar but cheaper) were advised. I'm sure they'll be other opinions though. Mine was for a pair of front tyres though - I have Pirelli P Zeros on the rear...more by chance than design....all Kwik Fit had to fit when I noticed the rears were like slicks whilst touring the Scottish Highlands after owning the car for a few months!

Think I may have a used, but fairly new one of these at my garage from when exactly the same happened to me last year (rotational were no longer available so changed both)

Interested? If so, let me know and I'll follow up.
