Sooty exhaust!

Hi all,

My left exhaust gathers a little bit of soot after a good run out, should i be worried?

Soot is usually seen equally on both pipe ends. Left exhaust is connected to cylinders 4, 5 and 6.
Hope for you it´s nothing serious, but certainly keep a close eye on it...

Get your other half to stand behind the car on start up. If there is any blue smoke then worry.

It could just be over fueling on start up or burning a little bit of oil (speed 6's do get through a bit)

It can be a sign of a lambda on the way out as well.
