After owning 2 Cerbera's, both of them brilliant, I decided I wanted a convertable (and also to save my spleen - the last one was violent) so I've just been and joined the Tuscan club with this MKII

This one has the digital dash which i think sets off the car better than the normal one, and with the CCC's sounds absolutley brilliant and does turn heads and gets more attention than the Cerb.

Help and advice needed on;

1) Need a good mechanic in the Cheshire area, preferably Liverpool / Warrington, as the drivers seat will not always hold its position and moves backwards sometimes on acceleration

2) The wiper wash jets are rubbish. The ones on the Cerb were brilliant. Anyone know of a cure or where to get some good ones.

3) Whats the small button for in the middle of the door release switch?

I have used the above company based in Middlewich and been happy with the service. Always plenty of TVRs getting work and reasonably priced. I think the guys name is Ian.

Nice car by the way, was it the siver 4.5 cerb you had before.

Congrats biggrin

1. If you can go that little bit further then X-Works TVR are near Blackpool, totally recommend them.
2. X-Works replaced my wipers with Bosch ones which don't lift off at speed, they always have better jet spray
3. That button is to disable the outside buttons including the boot release, I believe.

Congrats, that one looks familiar, Tamster's old T2 targa?

Would recommend Tvr power for the seat issue, washer pipe's may be blocked or detached, the small button is for anti-hijack. coolthumbup

Thanks, I should have realised that as it was Leven blades I had on my Cerbera and they were excellent.

I paid £25K less mine. I loved the sound of the V8 but the sound out of this with those CCC's is excellent.

Nice car Richard.
Re washer jets, i removed the tubes from the wipers completly and used normal after market washer jets, and mounted them in the holes in the scuttle panel were the tubes came through to go on the wipers, if that makes sense, total costs about £2.50 and got the bits from Halfwits.

I purchased the Leven wiper upgrade kit for my MK1.

Both my washer jet attachment blocks came unstuck and I had to re-stick them with superglue. All OK now. They do seem to work OK but I had to cable tie the washer tubes to the arm, which looks a bit naff IMO.

Nice looking car, I would recommend track v road not far from Blackpool, very helpful guys who know the beasties inside out.
