I need to get some oil to top up the car. It has had a TVR Power rebuild and has had it's 1000 mile service where they used 10W 40 semi synth oil. What brand is best to use or can I use any brand?

Any quality 10W-40 semi synthetic will do. If you can not get a 10-40, 5-40 or 15-50 should not cause a problem. More important you have it topped up.

I think it's semi only according to posts I have read on people getting feedback from TVR Power.

S6 Devil how much did you pay for your paint? ITs sort of a flip colour so must have been a pricey one... Does look lovely though...

The paint was remarkably inexpensive, I bought it from the USA and cost around £500 in total not including base coat and lacquers. It's called spectra fx emerald blue.

I'd use exactly the same brand/type the dealer is using, to avoid any discussion if things go wrong.
Apart from that, favorite full synthetic oils are Mobil one 15W50 and Silkolene 10W50.
