release bearing rebuild question

just rebuilding the slave cylinder/release bearing, its been apart for a while so one quick question, theres 4 seals, 2 square and 2 o rings, how does the small O ring sit in the rear sealing plate?

looks to me like it drops in from the clutch side and just sits at the back on the rear plate, has anyone got any pics please?
