Sounds like the oil pressure senor could be the problem is the pressure ok further up the rev range?Although best get it checked.As for mixing semi-synthetic & synthetic oils is not really a good idea.

yep pressure ok at higher revs, obout 2 check oil level.

Could be low idle speed. Mine used to do it at about 500 rpm tickover. Had it serviced idles at about 6 - 700 now and no sign of low oil pressure warnings.

Very Very likely to be a duff pressure sender unit! also could be leaking, sits on small ali block on o/s of engine bay below airbox.
