Has anyone fitted a heat shield to the exhaust manifold? If so where can they be bought and are they easy to fit? Just looked on mytuscan and it doesn't go into detail.

I think it's the heat resistant cloth or manifold wrap that holds the water!

As someone who had to weld around 14 meters of tubing into his Cerbera chassis due to corrosion I would not use any heat resistant cloth or manifold wrap to protect the chassis. The stuff acts like a pretty good sponge and retains a lot of water. The water then gets heated by the manifolds/cat and before you know it, the chassis is rotting. The problem is you can't easily see this until it is too late.

The Nimbus ally heat shielding is superb - I used it to replace all the heat shielding on the Cerb and it has stopped heat soak. It also allows any water to drain away...

There is then an ally shield covered in Nimbus that goes over the cats and exhaust to provide additional protection.

I just used one 750x450mm sheet on the chassis by the exhaust and cats that gets the most heat.
