Throttle reset problems help please :)

when i reset the throttle, throttle number 1 goes to 15% as it should but throttle 2 wont go lower than 28%, iv taken off the potentiometer and i can turn it to 9%.

also when ever i turn the car off and on the throttle pots go back to there original values, do u have to save the value somewhere after reseting them??

The throttle pots on the S6 reset every time the ignition is cycled. Do you mean that one is then not returning to this closed position again, or that they both do not open in sync?

basically, what was happening was....

id plug in with the diagnostics, reset the throttles to 15% turn the ignition off, turn on and they went to the setting they where at before i reset them, but i have been told that this is the memory chip in the ecu not working, and this makes sense as there werent any adaptive maps when i searched for them.

the other problem that i spoke about i havent fixed, which is, when i rest the throttle pots one goes to 15% as it should but the other goes to 20% and wont go any lower... any ideas?

Did you try to reset the adaptives too?
