I had water in my boot floor too...
In my case, it was the rear lights that were leaking. They were not sealed properly and water was coming through the edges, dripping to the boot floor. After a tube of black sealant and a couple of attempts, I think I am now fully waterproof..!!

We talking where the lid shuts down on the seals its not that tight when the lids shut? Or we talking how the seals are stuck to the boot is not sealed properly?

My girlfriend is really goood she even painted the TVR batch on the nose(all the we black bits in the slats).

Basically pull the carpet up and reseal from behind or just unscrew lights then jump in the boot and reseal that way???In my case, it was the rear lights that were leaking. Here's how I did it: I took the light covers off (that look like cups and are fitted with velcro to the body of the car) from the inside of the boot (mine's an S so the lights could be configured differently..), and resealed the edges.
However, the access (and my resealing skills...) is not that great, and it still leaked a bit. So, I got a syringe, filled it up with black silicone sealant, and sealed it from the outside. Its visible if you look closely, but if you be a bit careful and do it neatly, it should be fine. If you do it like this, make sure that the needle bit is larger in diameter than the normal needle, and not pointy at the end. You should be able to get this from boots or any other pharmacy..

Well i just did it... Was one of the lights on the left... So in order:
Water test was a sudden rain shower which saw a leak on the bottom left
Took the carpet off and the CD changer and then unscrewed the left two lights
Could see one light for some reason did not have any black mastic on it at all for some reason
Took a glass of water to the car and saw the water come in
Black mastic was unleashed. Best way i found was blob on your finger then just sort of smooth it round
Cars now drying under its cover, fingers crossed it works
