Since having my car its always needed alot of pressure on the stop peddle to really feel anything happening. Mate with a 4.5 also commented when he drove it that his were much better, i changed the position of the link rod on the peddle which made it slightly better.
Last weekend i fitted some 322mm alloy centered disks from a tuscan S, Sag,cerb 4.5 with some alloy spacers and the difference is insane. Much more feel, less pressure needed, smoother (others were slightly warped) far far better when hot and more importantly it now gives much more confidance when braking at speed.
An up grade i would reccomend to anyone, oh and they look much better than the old 290mm ones too.

You can get the discs to fit the tvr ali bells or you could get custom bells made. I think someone on the cerb forum is arranging for a batch to be made. You can also by the 322mm sag discs from power, RG but they dont have the ali center
Where did you source the ones you fitted from and can you disclose cost? The discs and bells came from a breaker, i made sure they had full thickness, then before they were fitted they were checked for run out, then a very light skim just to clean up, then finally crack detected to ensure there was no previous damage, (especially around the drilled holes).
In total its cost me under £150 inc skimming, crack detect and the material for the spacer brackets which i machined up and drilled my self.
