She has been having her rebuild - will have been away for about 10 weeks when i finally pick her up saturday!!

Cant wait! bouncebounce

I think im going to need sleeping tablets tonight and tomorrow - its like being a kid at Xmas all over again!

I hope i get through more than three tanks of fuel before something goes wrong this time!!

I may manage to get to 1000 miles in the driving seat!!! driving

The first 1000 miles at 3000rpm irked its horrid mate, after the run in the fun begins driving

Dean - im not looking forward to the 1000 mile run it....im going to be driving it to and from work to try and get it done soon....should be done within 3 weeks i hope!! Torture!!!

just make sure you keep the engine speed varied on the journeys to work, sitting at 3k rpm on the moterway/dual carrageway day in day out is not a good way to run her in, i guess you have been told that, but there have been many who have driven to scotland and back in one go and then think its ok to spank it as the engine is "run in"
normal driving on normal roads would be my advise to anyone running in any newly rebuilt engine.

my first 1K miles took FOR EVER,,,, AND A DAY!!!!!!!

Thats a good point - i travel 80 miles round trip a day - back lanes are nicer to drive anyway smile

Good luck from me aswell, keep us posted as to how she is going.
Expecting my p&j back in September bounce, just in time for the snow and rain frown .
Had the test drive in the 350 and the Tusc with the new ecu (on the shopping list for next year)
