Has anyone fitted a high level brake light to their Mk1? I've seen a couple of possibles online that wouldn't take up too much room in the rear view mirror, but without seeing them in real life it's hard to judge.

Nightrider has an aftermarket one fitted to his, hopefully he will be along to tell you the details. It was an easy fit I think.

You can also retro fit the later model one, but that's much harder to do.

Nah, not JUST an S thing. The high level was fitted to all Tuscan's after or very late 2000.

As a trial I fitted a flexable LED strip approx 600mm x 10mm x 1.5mm with self adhesive to the top of the roll bar on the leather. Works a treat, cost next to nothing and took less than an hour to fit....and can be removed with no evidence of it ever being there.

The strip is black and very flexable, so it can be applied to the curve of the interior. You could put one across the whole width of the bar if you wished.

Hope this helps.

Soz.....apart from Mk2 convertibles.
