I have a mk1 tuscan at the moment and in the near future is going to be getting a full respray and tidy up. I've already decided to go with a MK2 front grille and have sourced a MK2 boot lid with the small spoiler. My decision is now do I go with the MK2 rear lights? I have never really thought about them before but seeing the Tuscan in this months edition of Sprint I'm now toying with the idea.

Has anyone attempted it, or got any thought on wether I should even do it? I quite like the smooth lines of the MK1 but the MK2 rear lights seem alot more functional!
Thanks

Not for me, I prefer the MK1 rear lights,
And remember the Mk2 doesn,t have the high level indicators behind the rear screen.
So you would have to either fit rear lights from Mk2 and use Mk1 rear indicators or remove MK1 indicators (nono) and use the full MK2 light box.

I would prefer to get some clear led rear lights for my Mk1, must be less space consuming in the boot and better looking with clear led lenses flashing red or orange... anyone sharing this opinion?

Yeah I think I would rather go with something like this rather than MK2 lights

like this option more. it looks special
like i said with my esprit.
if you want an upgrade model, buy it
so don't go changing an older car to the new model.(Mk1 => MK 2)
seen so many porkers beiing converted to turbo's and newer models (911 => 964 and 911 => 993)
you can always see it,you won't have return on your money or an easy sell.
