Does anyone know of any good TVR garages near London who don't charge the earth for a service?

I agree that they're excellent, although a bit pricey from my experience. I think they charge around £85 an hour labour.

that's a lot of money
is that the price of an hour's labour on your side of the pond
we pay at the local official TVR dealer € 60 per hour
problem is they have to order allmost each part (so it takes age's)

For the peace of mind and the high quality of the service you get I think it's very fair. You can pay over twice that and be treated as scum in many places closer to Town.

For example, I have an excellent garage out in Amersham that looks after the old RRs for half the hourly charge but without the years of experience in dealing with Tivver build design and quirks it'll end up costing you much more in man hours and so labour fees to fix many issues plus, they wouldn't be able to spot important little things that need urgent repair.

You get what you pay for in this life and quite frankly, what you get at Barnet is excellent service at a very fair price.

I agree with above guys, TVR Centre guys always helpful and do a great job.Best Tiv dealer in south.

Other option is to call Track V road and get them to collect car on trailer(costs, but labour cheaper)

both of these companies have helped me look after my TVRs and being a novice tivver i needed loadsa help !! thanks

I typically get mine done by TVR Power up in Coventry (90 miles ish from London). £55 quid an hour and a reputation second to none.

I agree with others about Barnet, very handy, top notch service and top guys, however for me its not several hundred pounds per service better, even taking the faff factor into consideration.
