replacing wingmirror glass

A couple of questions,

How do I remove the glass?

Is the glass from another model of car?

Are all of the drivers side mirrors magnified, as I want one that isn't.

I'm sure the mirror is the same as found on a VW Corrado, but not 100% sure...sorry,

The glass just clips in and yes it is of a VW Corrado

does anyone know how to 'open' the mirror? I want to investigate the possibility to add a camera to my left side mirror.

Pretty sure you just get your fingers in behind the outside edge of the mirror and give it a pull, should just come away.
