Another probably over-done question, - sorry - but what tyre recommendations please?

I have Eagle F1s on now, but they're a bit old and hard and need replacing.

Yea just worked out how to narrow the search to Tuscans only, the function doesn't work too well on Safari.

So some reckon the GY Eagle F1 Assymetrics, and there's some mention of Dunlop SP Sports. I'd love to hear of any experiences with the Dunlops.

Falkens scored high in tests, and are quite a bit cheaper i think. The FK452 is the baby.

Get my vote too. Much better than the original directional F1's. Very stable and resistant to tramlining and aquaplaning.

I'm starting to sound like a broken record recently but I'm a big fan of the Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas. Much better grip wise than the F1 GSD3s they replaced.

Bit like the Nitrons - If you can afford it I'd recommend extra load Michelin Pilot Sports.

The jury's still out on the latest GY Eagle F1's since they are made in China (used to be Germany) and have a different sidewall construction to the older tyres. Hard call, I have Chinese F1s on the front at the moment and I am not so happy with the front end - bit too much tramlining. I haven't had Geo checked recently though so unfair to blame the tyres.

My recent experience is that higher tyre pressures and softer suspension seems to work much better than the lower tyre pressures many on here seem to prefer (I've seen recommendations of 24 psi which is low enough to allow Chinese Eagle F1s to move about too much). I'm now running tyres at 32 psi all round.
