Check the pins on the heater ECU. The one that takes the current often gets blackened and burnt out. The ECU is above the passenger footwell. It may need reconditioning. I sent mine to electroversal tel: 01582 582023. Cost £43.70 incl.

heater relay with pin burnt (middle left). problem I had was the cover of the unit did not allow the plug to fit securely,

undo 4 screws take top off, file back where it catches, bit fine emery to clean connection, job done
