Hello – Don’t get chance to post on here much, so first time in a while.

My standard 18” alloys are looking a little sorry for themselves, and so I’m thinking of having them refurbished and a possible colour change.

Question is – I can’t find many photos of anthracite alloys on a chameleon blue (flip-flop) Tuscan. Do this work? Anyone got any photos they could post?

Thank you.

Not sure they would look right on a chameleon car, I considered them on mine, an emerald/blue flip and decided that silver was the only colour that suits. Matter of taste I guess!

Just seen, there are some on a T2 in the classifieds:

They look a very light shade though - I was thinking of something darker. Anyone with any other snaps?

Thanks

See my profile, they look excellent on the darker colours (but i am biased wink ). Think it would suit the chameleon blue really well...

Thanks for the responses folks.

Decided to go for it, and get the alloys refurbished in anthracite. I’ll post some photos when its done, if anyone else is also undecided!

Can you tell me where you're getting them done?

Yes, its being done by a company near Guildford. I'll wait to see what job they make of them before recommending!

Lepsons will be able to do any colour you wish on your wheels ,

http://www.lepsons.com/

They refurb TVR wheels for racing green along with many other dealerships .

I do know that they keep a couple of wheels for racing green at their factory so to get the colour match the same everytime , and i am talking about the colours as per this thread thumbup

HI michael

Thats my old T2 in the pic you picked out on the classifieds, and yes, it does look stunning and really sets the car off in the flesh.

I had them done by Gatwick TVR who are sadly no longer there.

If you havent quite made up your mind I can send you over some better pics!

Thanks Stu. Very nice car - tempted to swop for my T1!

Would love to see some more pics, much appreciated. Help me to envisage what mine, T1 v T2 aside, will hopefully look like later this week (if a shade darker!).

Cheers, Michael

Might also be worth looking at a "shadow chrome" finish that Racing Green do - probably best described as a halfway house between silver and anthracite...
