I smashed my Tuscan up earlier this year.
No chassis damage but fibre glass damage front and rear.
A new fibre glass front or rear end would have been ca 1000 quid each not including the repair labour.
My total repair bill was estimated at 12,7K but realistically it should have been around 8K.
My Tuscan was written off but later sold as a repairable for about 4K so based the my sums for mine, 12K would not have left a margin for profit.
The insurance advised me not to go for the repair route and payed me 14K. (more than I payed for it 3 years before).

its not really my style to get involved BUT, i was in touch with him and whilst he did not have a car that suited me he did put me in touch with a breaker that had a Tuscan S. The deal being that I would give him the car to fix up once i bought it. I cannot explain just how dissapointed I was with the whole experience. the body work was rubbish! the paint even worse but more to the point he allowed me to drive it home to London with loose joints, no horn (even though it had an MOT). i took it straight to Tower View and they would not let me drive it away from them it was so dangerous and I had to have it put on a flat bed and taken away. I called him to discuss and he offerred to put it right but by that time there was no way I was ever going to let him back at it. I was going to report the matter to the police but just couldnt be bothered with the hassle (probably very irresponsible of me)

From the prices he seems to advertise the damaged cars at by the time it is repaired properly they are as expensive as a non damaged car & a CAT D will always be worth less money when you come to sell.Fibreglass can be bodged back together very easily but will be showing signs of cracks in 6 months time i would add i have no personal experience of this vendor but be very careful buy a straight car you will get more when you need to sell it.
