So i was unfortunately involved in an accident that wrote off my tuscan earlier this year (I have since replaced it so alls well!)

I have just found a breakers yard offering my old car for repair on ebay, and emailed them to ask if theyd be interested in the handbook/service history

I was originally intending to swap it for my stereo and car cover that i was unable to remove from the car before the insurance company moved the car out of my area, however the guy i emailed said if the stereo was no longer in the car he'd offer to buy all the paperwork.

I have the original handbook with service history cards, lots of receipts including proof of engine rebuild, copy of mot/v5 (originals went to insurance company so he probably has these already).

Does anyone have any idea how much this might be worth?

I am sure I have seen the leather handbooks for Tuscan and T350 pass through ebay for 50-60 quid, but usual, IIRC they wouldn’t have the car details page filled in and would have included blank service record pages.

I would imagine that the History would be helpful to sell the car, but would be of more use to the breaker to know that the engine had a rebuild and have the documents to prove. PRICELESS I'm sure he would bump the price up on that basis (If he hasn't already).

Then again, all the salvage ones on ebay still look a bit pricey (unless you know which one has the engine rebuild of course) considering they will be CAT D, if not a CAT C on the 2002 chassis swap, and still require fibreglass repair for a grand or two, then its gonna need painting, I don’t know how much a respray cost.

Out of interest, which one was yours? And when was the engine rebuild done? And by who? wink
