Well after a light dusting of snow, the sun dried the roads, a perfect drive could have been had...

I however had to say goodbye to my pride & joy :'( I defo understand now how people get emotional letting go of there car as you put so much time in, money and effort. I think the hardest thing was having someone else in the driving seat then hearing & watching it drive off. I was very protective and never let anyone else drive it so just hearing it drive off into the distance left me feeling very empty. I am however glad it has gone to another enthusiast. A very nice gentlemen from the TVR Car Club over in Germany who i am sure will treat it with the same love and care that i did... So if you are from Germany expect to see the beast driving around your country now...

I want to say thanks to EVERYONE on this forum for all the help and advice. I dont think i am going to go far. I will remain a memeber of the TVR Car Club and a regular user of the forum. Hopefully if all goes to plan i will be back in the drivers seat again of another of Blackpools finest...

Thanks everyone...

Don`t be sad mate. Your Tuscan got into very good hands of a true enthusiast.
Who else would be crazy enough to drive the car over through Belgium to Germany at minus 2°C with 10 inches of new snow over here...eek
I cross my fingers that it gets here safely and I am sure it will first thing receive a nice cleaning off the salt.
I can`t wait to see the car & colour in real at the next TVR CC Germany meeting.

What are you going to use the funds for / will become your new toy now ?

Allow me to introduce myself as the new owner of the wonderful Moondust-Tuscan. As BDM said, I`m Member of the German TVR Car Club. Since 2001 I own a 86` TVR 350i (wedge), but now it was time to extend. BDM, I thank you again for the good deal and I promise I will guard the Tuscan like gold.

Hi Udo,
Just after a free coffee.
I'm based part of the time in Salzgitter.
My Tuscans in the UK at the moment but should be back in Germany by April.

Anyway, Congratulations.
Happy driving she looks fantastic.

Commisserations to BDM but I'm sure you'll be back in a TVR seat sooner or later.

Tony.

Thank you, Adey, for the good wishes. Now it`s too late, to buy it back:-) Unfortunately I cannot drive it currently regarding the winter-weather in Germany. If you want to see the car again: if you are in Germany feel free to come for a coffee. Perhaps you will meet Tony and Chris:-)
